New General Aviation Reporting regulations came into force on 06th April 2024. Aircraft Operators are now required to submit manifest and flight information to UK Border Force (UKBF) through an online portal and adhere to strict time limits. Manifest information cannot be submitted earlier than 48 hours prior to aircraft departure, or later than 2 hours prior to aircraft departure.
Since UKBF also introduced a strict penalty scheme for non-compliance, most Fixed Based Operators (FBO's) are no longer willing to submit flight information on behalf of Aircraft Operators. As a result, the reporting obligations now rest directly with Aircraft Operators.
